Preparing for Tomorrow

In order to prepare for tomorrow you must sanctify yourself.
To sanctify yourself is to commit to serving God with your whole heart. You
must Love God with your whole heart. Also, commit to praying and fellowshipping
with God consistently. Learn to live in the presence of the Lord. Many
believers have made prayer an afterthought. We are supposed to always pray and
fellowship with God. Prayer keeps you connected to God in the Spirit. The key
word is consistency.
What does it mean to walk in the Spirit? Submit yourself totally
to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Create a fellowship and prayer time,
because on the other side there will be giants in the land. Jesus was a man of prayer. Study Mark and Luke
to learn about the life of Jesus.
Acts 12:1-5 refers to the earnest prayers for Peter while he
was in prison. What would happen if the church would pray without ceasing?
Many people struggle to pray. You struggle because you have
not developed a prayer life.
1) Realize
the prayer is essential to your spiritual growth and maturity. Know there is a
need to grow spiritually and the only way to do this is through prayer.
2) You
must be intentional about praying. You can’t just want to pray everyday because
something will always come up. Knowing and making something happen are two
different things.
3) When
something is important you will do what you have to do to make it happen. Go
and pray!
